Pattern Description
Have you ever seen the movie "You'll Never Get Rich" with Rita Hayworth dancing her heart out with Fred Astaire? In fact, not only Rita, but all the women in the Boogie Barcarolle number wore these shorts.
This 1940s pattern with two styles of shorts each with a pocket. Style 1 has a waistband and side zipper with front and back pleats; the stylish pleats give these shorts that forties flare. Style 2 has an elastic waistband with a flap decorating the pocket top.
